GEOLOGICAL

Native Copper means pure copper that occurs naturally. Copper is one of the few metallic elements to form on its own, and although it is metal, it is not magnetic. It has hypoallergenic properties, making it widely used in the jewellery industry. Copper also kills many bacteria on contact.

It is the oldest metal used by humans, dating back to prehistoric times. In ancient times Copper was polished and used as mirrors. Lumps of copper were traded as currency in Rome. And in Egypt, they used copper to purify water and treat patients. Native copper is found only in small quantities throughout the world.
