1. Is buying your own deck bad luck? No! I don’t know any serious tarot card readers who live by this. If someone told you this and you’re worried about it, my suggestion is to let it go.
2. Should I energetically cleanse my deck before I start working with it? Yes! As with any spiritual tool, it’s good to get into the habit of energetically cleansing your tarot deck before you use it for the first time or if you let someone else handle it.
