Meet Mr. Birdie
Hello, I am Mr. Birdie and I have quite an interesting story to tell about how I found my present home.

Shortly after moving to a new town a couple was with a realtor looking at houses. From the outside they saw a nice looking home along the river. Upon entering they discovered that the house was totally bare. The carpets had been ripped out as had the curtains, appliances and any semblance of living. After entering the kitchen the lady looked up and on the counter stood a very large wire cage with a very beautiful white bird in it. It was me. Yes, I had been left behind with no food or water.

The lady quickly grabbed a dish out of my house and filled it with fresh water, it was totally dry. Of course she had no food as I was the last thing she had expected to see. She talked real nice to me and so did the man. They asked the realtor if they could have me as I was obviously abandoned. He said he would check on it, which he did. He called the folks later that day and said they could have me. The realtor came and got me and took me to my new home. I was sooooo happy. I had thought that I was going to die of starvation and dehydration. They were a dream come true.

That has been about 9 years ago and I am a much loved member of the family. As well as Mom and Dad I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, all kitties. They live outside except for my sister Troubie who lives inside with me and is my best friend. When Troubie was an itty bitty kitty she used to sleep on top of my cage. She is good company when Mom and Dad are gone.

I do tricks, sing, chirp, (of course squawk sometimes too). I do not talk as they think I was about 7 years old when they found me. Too old to learn. That is Ok.. I am very happy and they love me even though I don't talk.

I am maIDking friends on the internet. I am an honorary member of Kitty Chat where I have lots of kitty friends and I recently attended 2 parties. The midnight ball at Catuary and a birthday party at a doggy friend Cleo's. Mom made me a new zoot so I would fit the occassions.

I am looking for a "Tweet" birdie girl to chirp and go to parties with. If you would like to meet me my sisfur said I could use her email.
Sadly Mr. Birdie went to the Rainbow Bridge Dec. 20 2004 where he is once again enjoying the special relationship he had with his best friend Troubie.
Don't I look birdsome?
